SAKALA GROUP LOGO
Phoenix, Arizona realty company The Sakala Group wanted a logo that was bold, distinctive, simple and adaptable. Thankfully, they were not interested in run-of-the-mill "house and Helvetica" logos.
It is a realty mark, so we did incorporate a rooftop design, but did so in a more graphic way, setting against a rising sun (AZ, hello!), while keeping their company name front and center. Red and grey added to the bold nature, and the 2 colors helped to make what is a bit of a wordy logo seem simple.
The client borrowed the idea of familiar AZ state flag colors from an early sketch, and they were incorporated here for a location-appropriate secondary design.
