I was able to retrofit World Games branding into an existing desk.
The event branding carried through to the studio shows. I oversaw the design of the studio elements, including monitors and desks.
The insert info graphics draw heavily from World Games branding.
These colorful insert graphics were used in both studio and remote settings, and helped bring life to the data presentation.
My design for the large monitor was intended to give the feel of a branded event installation with 3D depth.
The vibrant color palette and style carried through to dozens of information graphics, including maps and full screens.
The deconstructed World Games elements provided nice framing for scenics and sponsored elements.
SPECIAL OLYMPICS
WORLD GAMES
Done while Creative Director at ESPN.
This complete package design was a collaboration with the always awesome State Design in Los Angeles. The 2015 World Games was the largest Special Olympics event in history, and it was my task to deliver an "Olympian" visual package; one that would reflect the grand nature of the event, while showing the human side and unity of the organization. Because Special Olympics has a brand with great visuals, we were able to deconstruct their primary logo and utilize the elements as elegant packaging.

I provided the creative brief and oversaw every aspect of the the design, from animation to info graphics to studio presence and desk design. The event was a global success, and the organization was pleased with their visual representation.
